To delude is: to impose a misleading belief upon (someone); to deceive; to fool someone.

To be delusional, according to psychiatry, is to hold a belief in the face of evidence to the contrary - that is resistant to all reason.

For example:  I am telling you now that God still heals people in the name of Jesus Christ.

If I was to tell you this without providing any evidence, I could be accused and convicted of deluding you.

On the other hand, if I was to provide you clear evidence that God still heals people in the name of Jesus Christ...

And, in the face of this evidence, you still didn't believe...

What would that make you?

Is leg-lengthening fake or real? What is the significance of this practice according to scripture? Notice what the scripture says about the legs of the lame: "THE LEGS OF THE LAME ARE NOT EQUAL ..."
